Training of Artists- Greece

The training of artists in Greece was organised by Hope Art in a 3-day training session from the 27th till the 29th of March 2026.

In the framework of the workshop, which was organised in Steehos Space in Athens with the participation of 30 people, the participating artists were trained in the approach of “The Art of Connection” and the methods and activities of the MPAS methodology.

The programme was structured as a progressive experiential journey through the MPAS methodology, beginning with welcoming activities, the creation of a safe group space, the presentation of the project and an introduction to the training structure. On the first day, participants explored key foundations of the methodology, including Group Agreements, the Sufi Circle, the Humming Circle, the theory of therapeutic narration, the Art of Connection, and the activity The Line of Life, linking personal narrative, identity and reflection.

The second day deepened the experiential process through body-based, sensory and narrative activities. Participants reconnected with the first day’s experience and engaged in practices such as Arrive, Relaxation through DO-IN, Connect with the Element of Water, Find Your Match, and Circle of Senses. The programme then moved into externalisation and transformation through activities such as Embodying the Inner Character, the theory of the Hero’s Journey, I Hear You, Let Me Hear Your Voice, The One Becomes the Whole, Call for Adventure, Refusal, and Between Purpose and Obstacle. The final day focused on re-signifying personal experience and collective integration, including Coming Back Home, A Bit Closer, the preparation and presentation of a team performance, reflection circles, a closing ritual around the question “What is connection for you?”, and final guidance on the MPAS toolkit, website, questionnaire and follow-up opportunities.
