Instagram Live Event 2

On Monday, 31 August at 17:30 CET, the MPAS project organised an Instagram Live event dedicated to “The MPAS approach for the prevention of mental health issues through Art”. The event was streamed live through the Instagram account of Proyecto Nagual and aimed to present the main elements of the MPAS methodology to a wider audience interested in the connection between art, wellbeing and mental health prevention.

The discussion brought together Angeliki Ariadni Voulgari, Founder of Hope Art and creator of The Art of Connection Method, and Raul Sola, Humanist Therapist, Sociologist, Artist and Founder of the Pedagogy of Being. Through their dialogue, the event explored how artistic practices can support emotional expression, connection, resilience and wellbeing among young people, especially those facing vulnerability or disconnection.

A central focus of the event was the way in which the MPAS methodology combines artistic expression, personal narrative, embodied practices and human connection as tools for prevention and care. The speakers presented key ideas behind the project approach and reflected on the role that artists, facilitators and community practitioners can play in creating safe and meaningful spaces for young people.

The Instagram Live formed part of the wider dissemination activities of the MPAS project, helping to make the project’s methodology more visible and accessible to the public. It also contributed to the ongoing dialogue around the importance of creativity, connection and art in supporting young people’s mental wellbeing.
